Avlonas
It is the first gulf after Richa Nera, with marvelous sandy beach, for more tranquil swim. Neighboring volcanic islets constitute an ideal place for spearfishers. It also offers sports for kids and adults and bars with iced beers and snacks.
 

Lemnos village
One of the most famous beaches of the island is the one that lies in front of the hotel “Lemnos Village”. Very clear sandy beach, where all set is offered to searching good-liver tourists, and of course, an all type organization with deckchairs, parasols and sea sports.
 

Nevgatis or Zematas
As you are nearby Kontias, take the route to another known beach, the one of Nevgatis or Zematas. Enjoy its deep blue waters and take a sandbath over its marvelous fine sand, which lies along 2km approximately.
It operates with sea sports, bars and nice food, so it is a place that may hold you from morning till night.
 

Platy
It constitutes one of the most beautiful sandy beaches –very close to the city- that gathers most of the people. The area is developed touristically more and more. You may enjoy with your family the beach with its parasols, deckchairs, beat bars and sea sports.
 

Keros
Keros is considered to be an exceptional area for the lovers of surfing, because of the north wind. Here, a beach bar operates during summer months. At the end of the beach, left, there is a pine-tree forest, where you may camp free, with tents or caravans.
