In Thermae near Myrina, there are medicinal water springs and for this reason since the first years of Turkish domination at the island, there were built famous hamam in the area. Nowadays, nearby their remnants, there is an organized spa unit, which functions daily, all year, and offers an alternative form of recreation to all who desire to make a good use of medicinal properties of thermal waters of Hephaestus, in a magic environment. The water of Thermae is drinkable, treats skin diseases and rheumatic illnesses, salt content is low and its temperature ranges at 44oC.

Panagia – Plaka
People who suffer from arthropathies take mud-baths –that have salutary effects- into the slate-colored mud of this area. One of the most beautiful headland lights of Greece raises at the eastern edge of the cape of Plaka, while the port with its fishing boats transfers you to other times.
Lemnia Gi (Lemnos Land)
It is the famous clay, which for many centuries render the island of Lemnos unique in the whole world. It was mined from the 4th B.C. century till the end of 19th century, in the area of Fteri, between Kotsinas and Repanidi. For the locals, Terra sigillata (sealed earth) was known as “holy earth” and it was used for the production of various utensils, but also as an antidote to poisonings or a remedy for fevers, dysentery and ophthalmic diseases.
